Tower Poppies

Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red at the Tower of London, what an amazing art installation.
Created by ceramic artist Paul Cummins & stage designer Tom Piper marking the centenary of the outbreak of the First World War.
Seeing it last week as the final waves of ceramic Poppies were being planted was just breathtaking. I stood for quiet sometime imagining that each one represents a life & creating in my mind a sea of soldiers standing shoulder to shoulder. Today on Armistice day  the last of the 888,246 Poppies was planted.

These are just a few of the photos I shot.
