Today I made time to look through some photos taken during summer last year.
The cold & rainy weather prompted me to head straight for photos I knew where shot on a super hot sunny day.
So with a coffee in my hand I’ve had an enjoyable morning revisiting National Trust Cliveden near Maidenhead, Buckinghamshire
The Fountain of Love carved & designed by Thomas Waldo Story in 1897.
Parterre garden at Cliveden
Stunning gilded clock face on the water tower
Ticking off numbers 30 (hold a scary beast) and 31 (hunt for bugs) of 50 things to do before your 11 3/4
Pre teen pose
Chilling time & texting friends
Running through the maze
The tortoise fountain, created by the Fountain of Love sculptor: Thomas Waldo Story
The water garden with Chinese Pagoda brought to Cliveden in 1900 by William Waldorf Astor
Beach hunt style washroom facilities with cute bunting
I hope one day we will return to Cliveden as a family and explore it some more
