The weather this weekend has been some what Wintry despite it being the middle of March.
The snow was not going to stop me from visiting one of my favourite events, the Sock Fair held at Loughborough Town Hall, Leicestershire.
The fair offered a great range of quality art, textiles, ceramics, jewellery, photography and glass.

Clare Gage Fantastic ceramicist who takes inspiration from textiles
Sue Bulmer an artist who creates stunning limited edition prints and greetings cards
Clare Shrouder illustrator creating 2D and 3D artwork
Alex McQuade textile artist who makes the most wonderful corsages, brooches and badges along with artwork and embroidered pictures
OddSox create and make cute creatures, toys, badges and adorable mouse doorstops that remind me of the Clangers
Judith Brown creates her intricate jewellery weaving fine silver wire around mother of pearl buttons, enhancing with old lace, Judith also incorporates vintage haberdashery press studs, hooks & eyes.
Helen Hallows artwork is created using ink, collage and stitching to create original artwork, prints, greetings cards and ceramics
