Nottingham Vintage Fair

DSC_0211 yesteryear-1 copyOn March 3rd 2013 The Albert Hall, Nottingham was host again to The Vintage Fair. It’s a great venue with the most amazing organ.
I particularly look forward to these fairs, especially this one as more household and decorative items were to be on sale. I love a vintage tea cup or two…..more clutter I hear my husband say!
I had the strong intention to not purchase anything and to only go along as a visitor taking photographs of items that captured my eye and maybe my heart. Chatted with a few friends and caught up with people I have not seen for a while, discussed photography, life and children.
The vintage fair was super busy so taking the time to get good shots was hard if not at times almost impossible.

I fell in love with this adorable clockwork Zebra from Simply Vintage, who also make beautifully scented candles using vintage tea cups and wine glasses.

Meakin coffee pot copyAt the top of this post I mentioned I would not buy anything….hahaha.
Since when have you ever been anywhere with such amazing things and not popped your hand into your purse. Low and behold I could not resist this lovely Meakin coffee pot.
